Moby started his music career as a DJ then eventually become techno and he has done many different types of music that involve with any sorts of electronica sounds. He has made sample from many various blue songs, gospels, and folk songs. I really like this soothing song made by Moby, it’s called “Porcelain.” He has peaceful high-pitch piano sounds with dreamy sound effects. When Moby sings I like how the chorus have spacey echo sound effects. Simply it’s beautiful song that you will always love to listen to it. It will make you definitely in a state of dream or somewhere magical. It also gives you comfort in your mind as if you are the only one in the universe without worrying about being disturb by anything. This song will be categorized under ambient, and the ambient music is part of techno genre that sounds really relaxing and includes dreamy effects. Second song is “Natural Blues.” I like how it starts out with gospel singer singing as percussion (assuming bongo) joins in make it upbeat and not boring. Also keyboard tunes make song more fulfilling and harmonic especially during bridge of the song when gospel singing sample is not playing. After the bridge of the song, I like how sound effects make this song into even more trace.
